@Scientology's #Fundamentals aren't 'Founded' in any Actual Reality | @LeahRemini | #Fundamental #Fundamentally #Fundamentalist #Fundamentalism #Fundamentalists #Fundament

What I show here is 'the group of words' that couch "that word" (below hyperlinked to my post about Scientology's "Bridge to Total Freedom") into your vocabulary ... deeper meanings that 'firm the foundations' upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word |Fundamental| is built on ancient words that mean Foundation (see Bottom).

some notes on the video (in case you don't have an hour-and-a-half to watch it or 10-or-20 bucks to get the book)
after a little bit about how |Science throws away |Ancient |Wisdom ... |Scientology (Knowing (in the fullest meaning of the word) + the |Study of ... the Study & |Handling of the Spirit in relation to |itself, |Universes & |other |Life), |Dianetics (|Through + |Mind or |Soul ... what the Soul is |Doing to the |Body) ... Principle 1: It is Possible to Know about the Mind, Spirit & Life ... First Fundament: The Cycle of Life

... actually, I don't wanna watch the whole thing. But (something that might take a little longer) I'll silently take the whole FREE course they offer (as I don't want my roommate to overhear the crazy stuff on the video and -to think I actually believe this stuff!... and a course which oddly does not show up in my Scientology Courses) and give you 'my notes from that':
"... and so we Work" ... the course enforces Scientologists' Word-Clearing rule (i.e. you should not go-on reading when you encounter a word whose definition you do not know ... hence the online-course will not let you proceed to the next section if you do not pass the vocabulary-test between sections)
talking about 'how Science throws away Ancient Wisdom,' LRH mentions that--though the |Psych- in Psychology actually means "Spirit"--the medical study actually denies that the human-mind's processes are 'Spiritual'---with the medical industry insisting that they are instead Animal |Instincts to be |Manipulated |Chemically 😒 ( |Wundtian Psychology)
Then there's Principle 1 (that it's possible to know the mind, spirit & life). Then the Cycle of Life ... I disagree with his definition of "cycle"---he says it's 'a period of time with a beginning and an end,' but I believe that a cycle is more like 'a repeating series of events'
LRH expresses this 'repeating cycle' as "ChaosBirthGrowth→|Decay→Death→and back to Chaos" ... 'Scientology' summarizes that as "CreationSurvivalDestruction"
Then he goes into some 'kinda out-there'-stuff ... about how none of the parts of that 'cycle' are actually any-different, but "they are so because everyone agrees they are so," or something; and the actual cycle is "CreateCreate-Create-Create (which is apparently Survival)→Create/|Counter-CreateNo-CreationNothingness"
Then they list the three Conditions of Existence:
  1. Beingness - assumption of a Category of Identity
  2. Doingness - Action, Function, Accomplishment, Attainment of Goals, Fulfilling of Purpose, any Change of Position (in Space)
  3. Havingness - Owning, |Possessing, |Authoritatively Commanding, Positioning, Taking |Charge; Being Able to Touch or |Permeate, or to Direct the |Disposition of
Then they go into The Eight Dynamics. I've gone over this before, but it seems important that I bring up another disagreement I have---they say "no one dynamic is more important than the others," and I disagree; this policy is the main complaint that Leah Remini's anti-Scientology docuseries: that Scientology's administration regularly 'tears families apart' (affirming 'the prevalence of the third-dynamic over the second- or any other third- or sometimes even the first-!)
Then there's the A-R-C Triangle of Understanding (displayed in one-or-both of the triangles in their logo):
  • A for |Affinity ... measured on the Tone Scale (highest affinity to most-basic affinity: |Serenity - |Enthusiasm - Conservatism - Boredom - |Antagonism - Anger - Covert |Hostility - Fear - Grief - |Apathy)
  • R for Reality ... where Scientology insists 'what people agree upon is what is real,' but I have to disagree and affirm that '"what is real" exists whether you believe it does or not.'
  • C for Communication - the Operative Solution
Life--tho "serious"--ought to be viewed as a Game. In a Game, one is either Pan-|Determined (the |Masterful, Senior position) or Self-Determined. Pan-Determination is 'Determining the Activities of Multiple Teams (in the Game) |Simultaneously'
This brings us to 'the Necessity of Problems'---he interestingly notes how the wealthy frequently suffer neuroses because they lack problems. He proposes that people are Happier if they are usually trying to get into things (Trouble, Work, Danger) than trying to get out of them.
Derangement, |Astral Body (in Spiritualism), |Inexplicable, |Tenet, |Partisan; The Three Parts of a Man:
  1. Thetan (a.k.a. the Individualized Spirit)
  2. Mind - communication-system between the Thetan and the Body, consisting of
    1. The Analytical, which Reasonably, Rationally decides how to Respond to new events
    2. The Reactive, the |Instinctive, Stimulus-Response |Mechanism
    3. The Somatic
  3. Body
|Inculcate, 58 |Axioms (of Dianetics?),
|Estimation, ... and something about how The Goal of Scientology is not 'to make Everything into Nothing' nor 'to Free the Individual from all Traps,' but it's 'to make the Individual |Capable of Improving the Game.'
