The #Virtual #Virtue of #Real #Reality (AND #VirtualReality) @RobertJeffress #ProvingAtheism #ProvingGod

I saw a recent broadcast of Dr. Jeffress's Pathway to Victory, and it kinda showed that he's examined 'the whole network of prophecy' and has truly seen exactly 'what will happen' and exactly 'what's just human over-imagination.'

The main 'factoid that convinced me' (convincing me that he's actually examining The Scripture & not just 'parroting every Bible-belief that sounds happy') was some clarification he gave: the difference between The Rapture & The Second Coming ... in short, The Rapture is where all Christian believers get lifted to Heaven; and The Second Coming is where all Christian believers are led back to Earth by Lord Christ.

But then ... that's where I ask, 'Do you remember what the Jews thought their Messiah would do when He came to Earth? Even when Jesus was thought to be The Messiah, didn't the Jews who joined His ministry do so with the idea that they were "joining a militia"—that Jesus would lead a rebellion against the Romans who had conquered them (just like the Babylonians had conquered them in ages past)?

'And you might remember that He did lead a rebellion—a rebellion "of the mind" or "-of fealty" (i.e. so that–no matter which leader sits in whatever high position of whichever kind of government keeps the people at-peace–the subjects of "that small kingdom" aren't those leaders' slaves, as they are subjects of "a higher Kingdom").

'As Christ's first Coming didn't involve "fighting in war" so much as "evolving & enduring under changing government hierarchies," doesn't it stand to "reason" that His Second Coming would also be ... a bit of a disappointment? "Jesus ... will come in the manner you beheld Him ..."'

I know you're thinking, "And that had what to do with Virtual-vs.-Real Virtue/Reality?" Well, I believe in God—but more in 'the Spiritual Source'-version of God than -in 'the Daddy-Genie who lives in The Clouds'-image that Christians (probably myself too, if I'm not thinking about 'the Spiritual version' hard enough) envision when they hear/talk of "God."

But I read the text of many Facebook- (and other online networks') forums, who all generally conclude, 'Since it's proven there's no Daddy-Genie living in the clouds, God therefore cannot exist.' And–when I try to explain to them that God's not 'some guy who lives in the clouds'—he's more like 'a part-&-parcel piece of every powerful thing in the universe' (though I'm usually not that clear, as I want the skeptic to figure it out for themselves)–they run back and "thump" that 'Since it's proven ...' phrase (the same way Christians earn the label "Bible-Thumpers" by quoting Scripture at you when you try to tell them Scripture doesn't make sense!)

That is; if you can see something virtually, you're one step closer to seeing it in reality—and you can't see or make something real if you can't see or make it virtually!

The word “Real” (if not referring to "the Small Spanish Silver Coin" (Regal)) carries the scent of “Matter, Thing.”
The word “Virtual” carries the scent of “Capable of Producing a Certain Effect” (Virtue ... though the Latin root literally means "Manhood, Manliness").
The word “Virtue” carries the scent of “Moral Strength, High Character, Goodness, Valor, Bravery, Courage (in war), Excellence, Worth” (a root that means "Man" ... I admit, those are qualities that I've always been taught were 'manly'; but I suppose I would-be/am equally impressed by the many-many Women I know who practice those morals).
