(This is gonna sound 'immature' ... because it is; it's immature thoughts my subconscious mind thinks, that I would set aside for more-positive & -progressive thoughts if I had someone to 'distract me' from the immature thoughts that my brain 'ruminates' into "serious" concerns.)
We could blame it on my quiet voice (which they can't hear over the usual noise that's going on), we could blame it on 'the fact that people don't regularly care for anyone more than they care about— ... and that's another personal "rabbit-hole" I don't want to get trapped in'; but the main trap I'm talking about is that they don't know 'they would've done this-or-that if you mattered!'
One I'm dealing with now: someone told me we would make up for lost time; and now my mind is ruminating, "If she had really wanted to make up for lost time, she would've given you her text-number." So now I'm thinking she didn't really want to make up for lost time ... but maybe she didn't know she should've given me her text-number!
So I can avoid that 'trap' by giving her my text-number and see what happens.
'That word' is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which the our lexicon stands ...
Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong—that's one reason
Our Father God said "It is not good for the man to be
alone": "Because the man'll think he's right until someone else shows
