Pastor Mike starts 'his video on the errors in at-least-one Joel Osteen sermon' (the video linked through the bold hyperlink below) with an analysis of Osteen's church's regularly-recited creed, a recitation Osteen calls-for with the rallying-cry, "Hold up your Bible & Say it like you mean it!" ...

We'll get into that analysis (and into 'how that creed reminds me of the other creed I mentioned above), but first I want to review how that word (like the many other words I review and also hyperlink) is built upon other words, that are built upon other-- ... you get the idea ...

The word “Say” is built on ancient words that mean "to |Utter" (to Declare, |Vindicate, Show, Speech).

... reminding me of Catholics' regular recital of The Apostles' Creed (I couldn't find the old version, but the only difference between it and this new version (the only difference I can remember, anyway) is its use of "we" instead of "I" ... a notion preserved in its 'calling Jesus Christ "our" Lord):
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
And--noticing the '"We" to "I"'-change--I also notice that the Catholic Creed only has to say it twice (where the Osteen Creed has to refer to 'the person speaking the Creed' in every line ... which is why Pastor Mike is critical of its 'self-involvement' where it should be more 'Truth-involved.'

(But then none of the people congregating under Joel Osteen are there 'to learn what The Bible say'---'false word,' in that the Creed is apparently ALL ABOUT The Bible ... or maybe about 'what The Bible has become.'

(Point is---Joel Osteen isn't doing 'a Theology Lecture' there. People are gathered there for the same reason they gather at any Christian church---Fellowship in Jesus' name.)
