I discuss THE MATRIX: RESURRECTIONS on a forum (that'll PAY YOU to make conversation) linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Rise (\ #Riser #Arise)” is built on ancient words that mean "to Go Up" (also the base of ancient words that mean "to Happen, Flow, Travel (i.e. to Rise for a Journey)).
So, into an obsession with THE MATRIX
First, which MATRIX-character am I? Well,
- ProProfs Quiz says I'm Morpheus
- BrainFall (after a lot of survey-questions that'll probably get me a lot of SPAM) says I'm Cypher (rather than Neo, Trinity, Morpheus, The Oracle or Agent Smith)
- Zoo says I'm Agent Smith
- Scuffed Entertainment says I'm Morpheus
- Quizience ... seems to be the same quiz as Scuffed, so I'll skip it for now....
- quotev.com says I'm mostly Morpheus, followed by The Architect, followed by Neo/Smith (equally), and not Trinity at all
- allthetests.com says I'm probably (42% each) either Cypher (which they spell "Cyther") or Trinity, and probably not (8%) neither Neo nor Morpheus
- BuzzFun Quizzes says I'm Neo
That reminds me of a common 'trope' of RESURRECTIONS---the way a lot of the characters in the latest movie (you might call them its NPCs, as very few of them seemed like they were actually "deciding" to take actions) seemed more like 'amalgamations of characters from the trilogy' ... the new Morpheus actually said he was such a character---'the code of Morpheus mixed with some of the code from Agent Smith' (even though there was a character who took on the role of Agent Smith!)
