The current search for a 'forecast' of Cecily's future shows that people are currently trying to deal with her latest decision (which she 'sprung on us' in her final performance as a regular cast-member, because she didn't want the extra pressure that would come if this performance were to be 'an event' rather than just the latest of her ten-and-a-half years full of constant comical glory).

A slight change in the search revealed that Cecily will continue to star in the Apple TV+ musical series Schmigadoon! and will also be featured in 2024's Garfield.
