Because that's all I've heard about it—if you catch it (by 'not washing your hands' and/or 'touching your face' ... or 'sucking in the germs' somehow), you start to show symptoms of the flu ...

... and then I guess some people with the flu die (about 500 people in California have (from the regular flu) so-far this season).
