The MATRIX-trilogy's Morpheus is a human who 'woke up' from The Matrix; the latest sequel's Morpheus is 'a program that's partially based on the human.' But first I want to understand his name better. And I find you understand names better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The name “Morpheus” was originally the name of Ovid's God of |Dreams (and Son of Sleep), and is built on ancient words that mean |Beautiful Form, Fine Figure, |Shapely |Shape, Fashion, Outward Appearance.
