The 'His' we're usually referring-to is Our Father, a being whom most call God (originally known as (YHVH ... transliterated into 'Yahweh')). The 'His' that the etymology of 'History' refers-to is more-common—the elder of a village, or whoever is in charge of keeping- and passing down-the history.
