Satan's Not the God of #Hell, nor its Author, Preacher or King (that's Jesus) | @LexBMeyer #DiscoverTheBookMinistries' #JohnBarnett
'Discover the Book'-Ministries' John Barnett clarifies the importance of Hell (according to Lord Jesus Christ) in a video you can access through the bold hyperlink below; but first I do some digging on that word (and maybe some digging on the words supporting it ... dig along with me if you want to!)
While Nichiren Buddhism teaches that Hell is more 'a perspective of experience' than 'a place where sinners are burned for eternity,' their text describes Hell as "an underground prison"—Japanese nigoku, Sanskrit naraka, Rage–the desperation and resentment arising from the inability to quell misery, with no hope of respite from torment–manifests itself through War.
The word “Hell” carries the scent of “Concealed Place” (to Cover, Save ... same as the root of Heaven?).

Many texts (which use "Hell" to describe imaginable living conditions on Earth) are often 'cited' as "proof that Hell isn't 'a place where sinners burn for eternity'," but the passage Minister Barnett cites (in the video linked above) quote Lord Jesus Christ describing Hell as "eternal (never-ending) conscious punishment)." So--just like The Bible sometimes means 'The Sky' and sometimes means 'Paradise' when it mentions "Heaven"--it sometimes doesn't mean THE Hell when it mentions "Hell."

The Bible's words sometimes-translated Hell:
- Sheol
- Hades
- Gehenna
- Tartarus
- The Lake of Fire
- Second Death
- Eternal Retribution
