#KennethCopelandMinistries @EagleMt presents the #2021-Calendar: The #Year of the #LocalChurch | @FarmersAlmanac @Wikipedia @CopelandNetwork
A mere splash of the constantly overflowing abundance of the blessed 'publishing-company' Kenneth Copeland Ministries (which I understand also does ... other stuff (baptism, other missionary-work, Bible-study, motivational speaking, etc.)), a calendar was offered to all the members of The Ministries' audience.
Their calendar gives us 12 'sets of days' (noting 'special holidays or ministry-events'), each a month accompanied by a 'wallpaper' (scenic photograph) of a local church, Scripture-quip ('Squip'?) for the month, marking everyday with a Scripture-passage-citation ('Book Chapter:Verse - Book Chapter:Verse') to read that day---keeping you on-track to read 'The Whole Bible' in one year.
That whole plan is also available on the page linked through 'the main word' below (in case you started late or -you missed a few days). Here, I list a few 'root-words' that tie that word into our lexicon....
The word “Year ( #Years #Yearly)” is built on ancient words that mean Season (any Part of a Day or -Hour, Spring, Famine (Bad year), that which Makes- or Does a Complete Cycle).
The Months, their Wallpapers with Scriptures, 'Moving Holidays' & Special Events (along with 'the usual calendar text'):
- January - Timothy II 3:16, on a wallpaper of Eagle Mountain International Church (Newark, Texas)
- February - First Thessalonians 3:12, on a wallpaper of Good News Church (Moscow, Russia)
- with Ash Wednesday on February 17
- Purim (beginning at sundown) on the 25th
- March - Romans 10:17, on a wallpaper of Covenant Church (Destrehan, Louisiana)
- Daylight Saving Time begins at 2:00 a.m. on March 14
- March 20 is the First Day of Spring
- March 27 is when Passover begins (at sundown)
- March 28 is Palm Sunday
- April - Second Corinthians 5:17, on a wallpaper of The Blessed House International Church (Lake Mary, Florida)
- April 2 is Good Friday
- April 4, Resurrection Sunday

- April 22-24; Sacramento Live, Victory Campaign (Sacramento, California)
- May - Isaiah 56:7, on a wallpaper of Faith Life Church (New Albany, Ohio)
- May 6, National Day of Prayer
- May 13, Ascension Day
- May 16, Shavuot (begins at sundown)
- May 23, Pentecost
- May 27-29, Detroit Live, Victory Campaign (Southfield, Michigan)
- June - Matthew 28:19-20, on a wallpaper of World Harvest Church (Murrieta, California)
- July - Luke 6:38, on a wallpaper of Family Community Church (North Highlands, California)
- July 5-10, West Coast Believers' Convention (Ontario, California ... I'll double-check that, but I'm pretty sure they did their 'due diligence' and it's not actually taking place in Ontario, Canada 😏)
- August - Isaiah 2:3, on a wallpaper of Living Faith Church (Lagos, Nigeria)
- August 2-7, Southwest Believers' Convention (Fort Worth, Texas)
- September - Peter I 4:10, on a wallpaper of Faith Life Church (Branson, Missouri)
- September 2-4, Word Explosion Military Salute (Columbia, South Carolina)
- September 6, Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year, starts at sundown)
- September 15, Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement, starts at sundown)
- September 20, Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles, starts at sundown)
- September 22, First Day of Autumn
- October - James 5:14-15, on a wallpaper of Word of Life Christian Fellowship (Concord, New Hampshire)
- November - Psalm 22:3, on a wallpaper of Word of Faith Christian Center (Southfield, Michigan)
- November 2, Election Day (I don't know if that's "regular" or 'moveable,' but it seems like a day to remind people of every chance you get!)
- November 7, Daylight Saving Time ends (2:00 a.m.)
- November 11 (Veterans Day) - 13, Washington D.C. Live, Victory Campaign (Woodbridge, Virginia)
National Harvest Thanksgiving ceremony in
Poland's Jasna Góra Roman Catholic
sanctuary in Częstochowa, Poland - November 25, Thanksgiving Day (maybe they should specify 'United States of America,' as I imagine that other nations have their 'local' "Thanksgiving Day"s ... I'll look it up)
- November 28, Hanukkah (begins at sundown)
- December - Hebrews 10:24-26, on a wallpaper of Words of Grace Christian Center (Herndon, Virginia)
First of all, I'm slightly 'offended' (more like 'feeling left-out') that none of the wallpapers were from Oklahoma (my 'locality,' and the 'locality' that served as the launchpad for the Copeland ministries).
I might feature a lot of "Oklahoma-Church"-'wallpapers' to balance that off, but first ... you probably also noticed that many of the 'holidays' listed above were Jewish fests. "Why would a Christian ministry want us to remember Jewish celebrations?" I imagine you asking.
Well, I'm sure you know that Christianity was built on Judaism! Sure, I did list Christianity's Easter-dates (Resurrection Sunday, Palm Sunday, Ash Wednesday, Ascension Day)--a holiday-group which (like Christmas) borrows a lot of traditions from pagan culture--but it follows the Jews' practice of 'setting dates according to "alternate astronomical phenomena" (the moon, mostly ... which is where we get the word Month)'.
Let's see if they mention it in 'the preamble' (a little memo in the first pages of the calendar):
Dear Partners and Friends,Gloria and I are grateful for your connection with this ministry and are happy, once again, to give you this calendar as we come alongside one another to fulfill God's plan for us all in 2021. We believe the calendar will serve as a daily reminder of the faithfulness of God to His people. Keep it close at hand throughout the year, and let God speak to you every day. Be sure to utilize the provided space to make notes on the calendar to remind you that God is working through your partnership with us and with your Local Church to bring His Kingdom purpose into our world.
The LORD has impressed upon us that 2021 will be the Year of the Local Church. That word from The LORD serves as the theme for this calendar and has been incorporated throughout it as a monthly reminder. The Local Church has been central to God's design for the life of His people since Jesus walked the earth, and continuing right up to this very day. He left the care of The Kingdom in the hands of people just like you and us, who received His commission and began to preach The WORD with signs, wonders and miracles following (Hebrews 2:4). We're still on the mission---preaching, teaching and receiving all He promised! We believe 2021 will be a major turning point for the Local Church and for our nation. We will see the Local Church rise up and usher in the biggest revival we have ever witnessed. People's hunger for God and the life only He can provide will grow and change our world! It will be vital in 2021 for us to seek God and His WORD as our top priority every day. Prepare yourself to be an active participant in all He has in store for the days ahead. Spend quality time in His WORD, worship and praise Him as King of kings and LORD of lords. Seek His direction for every step you take and decision you make. The Kingdom of God is depending on us---working through the Local Church!Gloria and I love you and pray for you every day. We are so grateful to have your love and prayers for us and our KCM ministry-staff around the world!
Then there're some notes about the two main 'ministrieses' that "promote" this calendar:
- Our Purpose (Why We Exist)---Romans 8:28
- To mature believers worldwide in the use of their faith.
- Our Vision (What We Expect to See)---Habakuk 2:2
- To see believers experiencing the fullness of THE BLESSING, which includes divine healing, supernatural prosperity, the God kind of love, and more; operating skillfully in God's Word, and well-trained to discern good and evil.
- Our Mission (What We Do)---Matthew 28:19
- Our Mission
- We are commissioned to take a group of people and disciple them intensely in the Word of God, teach them an uncommon fa8ith, and help them stand victoriously in life.
The Calendar does mention several 'localities' it 'calls home' (or at least 'hires people to pick up mail-from'):
