Happy #ResurrectionSunday @CopelandNetwork! @MissMayim Bialik, Shouldn't EVERY #Sunday Be a "Resurrection Sunday" #Sun
I "tag" 'everybody's favorite Jew' (well, 'my favorite living Jew') Mayim Bialik because Resurrection Sunday is Christians' popular reason (or 'excuse') for 'moving the Sabbath from "the seventh day" (which is still regarded as The Sabbath by the Jews & -by a few denominations of Christianity) to "Sunday."'
I propose that 'they're both right'—the seventh day is the commanded day-of-rest for The Body that we are (the Judaism, resting in peace); the first day is the manifested day of renewing of The Spirit that revives our rested flesh (as the resurrected Body of Christ).
The word |Sunday| is built on ancient words that mean “Day of the #Sun.”
The word |Sun| is built on ancient words that mean "|Helio-, |Helium, |Parasol, |Sol, |Solar, Solstice, |South."
