That's not an "L"! it's a "T"! I'm using @TabForACause to send Ukraine some @SaveTheChildren Water-Purifying #Lozenges, not 'Filtration Systems'! (#TabsNotLabs :-)) ) | @save_children @Sidequesting @Trendrr
In a previous Ukraine-supporting post, I misquoted my 'Tabs for a Cause'-invite as saying we were sending Ukrainian families some 'Aqualabs' (which I imagined were 'those filters like we put on our faucets to make sure our water's clean enough to drink').
But they're actually 'aquatabs'---each a little #lozenge that sanitizes 'a pitcher' (or so) of water.
We discuss "our efforts to support Ukraine through their struggle" on a paying forum you can access through 'the bold hyperlink(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about the hyperlinked words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)
The word “Lozenges” is actually 'the name of the Shape of those Tablets,' and is probably built on ancient words that mean Flat Stone (Slab, Tombstone)---also a name for 'Small Cakes of that shape' and 'Ornamental Rhombus/Diamond-Motifs in Heraldry-etc.,' and is related to words that mean Flattery, Deceitful Friendliness, False & Undue Praise (perhaps on the same notion that calls a Rhombus 'a Diamond' 🤔)
And #Aqua, while I'm thinking about it ...
"Aqua" is built on ancient words that mean Water (the Sea, Rain ... also used in old Chemistry/Alchemy to mean Decoction, Solution; or a Light Greenish-Blue Color).
