@CleoAbram & @RebeccaDavis let @Kyle_MacLachlin Frighten us with False Implications about #Water on #EXPLAINED (from @today_explained)

EXPLAINED tells us about the world's drinking-water.

I don't remember the exact statistics (which you could see by watching that episode of EXPLAINED or by helping Ecosia plant trees when you search for the statistics online), but the implication that was made was that each cell of water can only be used once, and then is destroyed (although Kyle did say that 'all the water that we use today has been on Earth since the beginning of time' ...

(EXPLAINED could have even made a reference to 'the still-suits used to filter-&-reuse the body's water on the DUNE planet of Arrakis,' but I suppose they were trying to scare us into thinking there's risk of a shortage).

I'm not sure about 'the numbers' ... they said that 'the alfalfa they use to feed the cows needed to make a burger uses up 500-some gallons of water'—while it's true that the production does "use" that much water, the water goes RIGHT BACK INTO The Water Cycle from there ... you could be drinking THE VERY SAME WATER as you eat the burger!

'That word' (below-hyperlinked to NETFLIX's offer for 30 FREE days of the streaming-service that'll let you watch EXPLAINED and tons of additional movies & series) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Water” is built on words that mean “Animated + |Wet” (Luster, |Splendor (|Measure of Diamond-|Quality)).

Astrology's Water-signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces):
Feelings dominate their decisions. They can retard their own growth and development by giving in to feelings of self-pity or undue sentiment. On the other hand, when they allow intelligence to curb sentimentality and sharpen intuitive faculties, they can be unerring in their judgments. Emotionalism can raise them to singular heights of inspiration and achievement and also plunge them into the depths of degradation and despair.
