And I agree & disagree ... I could go into the equation that the Scripture would be giving us if that's what they were saying if it were written today (1,000 years (365,250 days or 8,766,000 hours or 525,960,000 minutes or 31,557,600,000 seconds) condensed into 1 day),
but I think Peter's point was that 'there's no real relativity between our time & God's time'---I think it works out more like 'our lives are "books/videos/DVDs/streaming-selection on his shelf or recording-queue"' ... we think we're living out the time, but God sees it more like 'we're standing perfectly still a billion-or-so times' (in frames of our lives' films).
