Oh, I'm sure he also worships Our Heavenly Father; but ... That discussion is linked through 'the main words' below; but I feel it's more important to understand those words better. And I find that you understand words better when you look at the other words at the bases of the words you're thinking-of ...
The word "False" is built on words that mean "Deceive, Disappoint, |Feign, Pretend" (Fail). #Falsity #Falsehood #TrueOrFalse #Falseness #Falsely #Falsies #FalseTeeth
The word "Unwittingly" is built on words that mean "Not + #Wittingly" (Ignorantly). #Unwitting
The word "Wittingly" (present-participle adjective's adverb) is built on ancient words that mean "Aware (Wit)." #Witting
The word "Pantheon" is built on ancient words that mean "All + Gods" (and was the name of a Roman |Temple devoted to All the Gods). #Pantheism #Pantheist #Pantheistic #Panthea #Pantheons
I know that the word 'pantheon' might sound a little "wrong" to Christians ... "No God but 'Our Father who art in Heaven'" being one of the basic principles they hold to. But maybe the 'gods' named in the word 'pantheon' may mean something different than Christians mean when they say 'God'---sorta like "boss" means something different when you say it to your direct supervisor than when you say it to their supervisor or to someone (usually a child) outside of your company.
I guess Christians use 'God' to refer to "the whole hierarchy empowered by Our Heavenly Father," but it's a hierarchy that's parallel to several other panthea.
Pantheons\Roles | Great Father | Rival Siblings | Younger Siblings | Family Friends |
---|---|---|---|---|
Christianity | Yahweh | Jesus, Lucifer | Angels | Saints, Prophets |
MARVEL Norse | Odin | Thor, Loki, Hela | Heimdall, Thanos, etc. | Captain America, Captain Marvel, The Hulk, Iron Man, etc. |
... there are obviously more panthea, and I'll list the parallels as I think of them (and research them to verify).
