The word “Baphomet” is built on a medieval corruption of "#Mahomet (archaic transcription of |Muhammad)" (the name of a |Muslim/Pagan Idol, a name also given to the Demonic, |Horned God depicted in the drawing "|Sabbatic |Goat" ... #Baphometic #Baphometal #Baphometist ...).

I guess I should state 'The Reviewlation(s)' first, and get into the discussion it (each) brings up.

First, 'Satan' is not "a spiritual being who wages war on Our Father Yahweh"---at least not in this context. 'That being' is Christians'/Jews'/etc.'s anthropomorphism of the Conflict brought by an Adversary (Hebrew הַשָּׂטָ֔ן (haś·śā·ṭān) also translated "Accuser").

Many a Bible-Thumper I know would respond to that with the ol` Christian maxim "One o` the Devil's tricks is to convince people he don't exist!" And that's probably true, but not the way 'the thumpers' think; see ... I'll get into that later, but first ...

The Second 'Reviewlation': The First Reviewlation shows that the biggest satanist was Lord Jesus Christ Himself! Think; would He have been crucified if He hadn't 'raised a raucous?' And He did it in such a mostly-peaceful way, much like Anton Lavey & (the cofounder of- and spokesman for-the group featured in HAIL SATAN?) Lucien Greaves do.

This new understanding makes Lord Jesus Christ's ministry a satanic discipleship! Reminding me that--when He gave His disciples The Great Commission--He told them to make 'Disciples' (not necessarily 'faithful worshipers') of all the world's people.

I had thought a "Disciple" was simply (the good ol` Sunday-school definition) 'a student of Jesus (or -of a leader like Him).' But my introduction to Soka Gakkai International (SGI Buddhism) informed me that a Disciple is 'one who is in training to take the place of The Master (when The Master Ascends beyond the Master-position).

The Devil is actually more "a Son of God" than Jesus (when He was born, anyway ... He became a better Son, but ...) That's actually what The Bible called 'the angels who came to Earth in defiance of Yahweh.'

(I try not to refer to Yahweh as "God" because ... that's actually Lucifer's name! Well, maybe not 'Lucifer'; but definitely 'the Watcher/Angel who came down from Heaven & led the Rebellion against "Father God" (an acceptable substitute for "Yahweh" ... the same way you call your father "Dad" rather than using his given-name).'

(just like they say many Old Testament heroes were "types of Christ,"

 Jesus was 'a type of satan' (as well as 'a Beacon of Righteousness'-etc.)

(That knowledge made it 'strike me as funny' when Bible-thumpers were protesting against the Baphomet-statue's placement next to the '10 Commandment'-monument---They'd say "GOD is against the satanism & this is "One Nation Under GOD,'" and I'm thinking 'Do these rednecks know what they're saying?')

No, they don't; because--when they think they're protesting satan--what they're actually protesting is
