#Revelation (lit. #Apocalypse) of the Truth All Christians 'Stand Firmly' on but -would Deny if You Ask Them About It - #Reveal #Apocalyptic #Revealing #Reveals #Revealed #Revelations

I realize that Christians actually believe in 'fellow Christians' will-power' more strongly than they believe in 'God.'

I realized this while reading a friend's mission-newsletter. In it, my friend frequently 'gives God all the glory-etc.'; but he also begs-&-pleads for readers to "pray for him & -his ministry," and he thanks "all the people for their past-&-ongoing prayers."

I've been trying-&-trying to guide people back to the Biblical method of prayer—the method Lord Jesus Christ instructed us to use (He used good words, yes; but I focus on His command that we each "go to a private room, shut the door and pray in secret).

But–even though Lord Jesus then tells us that 'it's conniving Pharisees who pray in public (essentially just to get favor from their audience)–people continue to ask for "other people's prayers."

... revealing that they don't believe that God (who hears the believer's prayer in secret) has much control over the real world!

The word “Apocalypse” carries the scent of “|Off, Away from (|Apo-) + to |Cover, |Conceal (Save)” (the '|Cataclysmic |Event at the |End of the |Present World'-meaning is fairly modern, those events being featured in the book-of-The-Bible titled 'Apocalypse'—also translated 'Revelation').

The word "Revelation (Reveal)" carries the scent of "lay |Bare; |Opposite of (|Re-) + |Cover, |Veil."

Hmm ... that might be another Apocalypse/Revelation ... another frequent-disagreement-I-have-with-most-Christians involves 'Heaven' (the "company line" is that people (their spirits, anyway) 'go to Heaven when they die'; yet we preserve their bodies, as if the probably-diseased flesh is somehow-worthy of the saint who discarded it!)

Perhaps 'Heaven' is another cover-story—sort of like the infamous 'farm up-north where our pets all run free forever' 𝨍𝨏
