Inherited #Credit, or ... #WordByWord #BibleStudy of #SecondCorinthians5TwentyOne (with verses 17-thru-)

Actually, I don't know if 'that word' (below-hyperlinked to a way for you to improve your credit-score) is actually anywhere in the verses quoted beneath the subscribe-textbar; but it comes up because ... we'll discuss it in a moment

But the word itself is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Credit” #Creditable #Credits #Creditor #Accredited #Creditors #Cred# is built on ancient words that mean "to Trust (Entrust), Believe (Credo)."

Like I said; the Scripture below might not actually contain the word 'credit,' but the birthday-"redemmo" that Kenneth Copeland Ministries sent me was essentially a note that said I get 'credit for' (though they didn't actually use that word either ) The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ:
    Second Corinthians 5
  1. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
  2. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
  3. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
  4. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
  5. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
