You can see my post about KCM's 2023 Calendar through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; I'll quote their "2023 JANUARY" below, but first–after a mention of the free mining-software (giving us free Bitcoin in exchange for energy we're wasting anyway)–I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)
January is named after #Janus, the Roman God-Guardian of Portals, Doors & Gates and -Patron of Beginnings & Endings. The name “Janus” is built on ancient words that mean "Gate, Arched Passageway (to Go, Travel; Path)" (Janus' icon has Two Faces, representing Sunrise & Sunset & the role of a Solar Deity).

PATHPOINT FELLOWSHIP CHURCHPastors Scott and Missy Johnson | Amarillo, TexasOh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness-Psalm 107:8-9, NKJV
That picture hangs above the January calendar-grid (with the chapters-&-verses for each date's Scripture-reading, and notes for the following holidays):
- Sunday the First: NEW YEAR'S DAY
- Friday the Sixth: EPIPHANY
- (And they don't mention it, but there is a Friday the Thirteenth this month.)
- Monday the Sixteenth: MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY
