The Prayer You Share (outside your Private Room's Closed #Door) IS NOT the Prayer God Hears #Matthew6six #BibleStudy #WordByWord @prayerDotOrg @CopelandMinistries @AnjaliSharma3

'That word' (below-hyperlinked to the Scripture where Lord Jesus uses it to give us the difference between real prayer & false prayer) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Door” is built on ancient words that also serve as the Foundation of " |Foreclose, |Foreign, |Forensic, |Forest, |Forfeit, Forum, |Hors d`Oeuvre, Thyroid" (Outdoors (Out-of-Doors), |Gate, Opportunity)

I read Kenneth Copeland Ministries' Believer's Voice of Victory Magazine, where Brother Copeland tells us a little of a conversation he & Our Heavenly Father are having. He says,
It was 1966, on the campus of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. Kenneth Copeland was still basking in the anointing after Oral Roberts had laid hands on him, when God showed him something in the spirit---opening his eyes to see the spiritual condition of believers as he'd never seen it before.
Suddenly the bodies of the believers standing before Brother Roberts in the prayer line were transparent. Only a vague outline could be seen. Though physically healthy in most cases, theeir spirits were so scrawny and sickly they could hardly walk. Yet, on top of each emaciated, little spirit body was a huge head.
Son, Kenneth heard the Lord say, I have called you to feed My people. They are out of balance. They are physically developed, they are mentally developed---some are so developed mentally that they can hardly hold their heads up. I'll show you how to feed My people and build them up spiritually until they become balanced.
... and I think, 'Hmm, that's how prayer (our "conversation with 'Our Heavenly Father' (I know it's easier to just call him "God," but it might be important that I don't do that here)") should work---we hear him & respond to him. 'Like Mother Teresa said Prayer is supposed to be, "We just listen ..."---
sure, a lot of stuff happens in the world and we use the grace Our Heavenly Father gives us (given during prayer) to change what we can and -to navigate through the matters we can't change; but we're not changing the fact that "Thy (Our Heavenly Father's) Will Be Done" ... maybe that's 'a chink in the armor (of omniscience)'---Our Heavenly Father (saved by Lord Jesus) cannot hear about anything that he did not 'Will Be Done.'

I've written a large amount against 'posting to Facebook or -Twitter etc. "asking for prayers."' I would often respond to the 'prayer-request'-ers---telling them that, "No, you don't need our prayers; you need your own prayers, and you need to tell us your prayers so that we can either change our own prayers or tell you how to change yours."

But I've gotten in trouble for stating that in comments on the prayer-request, because the 'prayer-request'-ers AREN'T SEEKING "PRAYERS!" they're seeking 'encouragement & peace-of-mind in their patience!'

What does this have to do with "door"? Well, it's partly "that's how I remember that Lord Jesus said prayer should happen in secret"; and it's also because--in that verse--it's the most important word I haven't 'done a post on' yet.

Might-as-well quote the whole verse here (and link the words as I 'do posts on' them):
Matthew 6:6 (Young's Literal Translation): But thou, when thou mayest pray, go into thy chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who is seeing in secret, shall reward thee manifestly.
You go into 'your room' and shut the Door, for Our Heavenly Father hears 'in secret.'

Sure, the 'prayer meeting' at ORU wasn't "in secret"; but "the anointing" Brother Copeland bathed-in allowed him to shut out the noise of the world and hear Our Heavenly Father's message in the 'private chamber' of his mind's heart.
