@Sci_Phile (starting after over 15 minutes of warm-up) explains the 2021 #IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on #ClimateChange) Report @IPCC_CH | #Climate #GlobalWarming #Climatology

Professor Hill explains the IPCC report in a video linked (and cued-up to "the main topic ... the stuff he talks about before it is kinda interesting, but--getting to the point ...) through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

Climate Change is Human-Caused Global Warming
The word “Climate” is built on ancient words that mean "to Lean" (it's believed that ancient geographers divided Earth into zones based on the Slope of the Earth (Angle of the Sun) and the Length of the Day. The sense shifted to mean "Characteristic Weather of a Region"). #Climatography #Acclimate #Climatic #Clime #Microclimate

"Global Warming" is the Name of the Condition of Overall Rising Temperatures on Earth- and the Attendant Consequences-due to Human Activity (theoretical in 1983, highly-evidenced from 1989).

Professor Hill summarizes IPCC's report excellently, but if you're 'one o` those' (that need to review ALL the 'terms-and-conditions') then you can find the original report (and check out a few other reports) HERE.
