The #Name Says It All! (Why a #Name Is So Important) @CopelandNetwork #NameOfGod #NamesOfGod #Names #Named #Naming #InTheName #NameItAndClaimIt #NoName #ByName #Namely #Nameplate #Username #Nameless

Kenneth Copeland Ministries' latest Partner-Letter explains God's names—none of them are just "God" (though he knows you're thinking of him when you use that name, Satan can claim that you're talking to him too ... like when you see a check "payable to the order of" your name; it may actually be for 'someone else with the same name as you,' but you can legally claim the money until someone objects!)

That is to say, 'God' is Satan's name too (as he is a member of God's family). But we know how to specify 'The High Father of the God-Family' by using one of his proper names:

*Spelling is from the Names of God Bible: God's Word Translation, Ed. Ann Spangler, Lavonne Neil (Grand Rapids: Revell. 2011)

The word "Name" is built on ancient words that mean Reputation (to Nominate).

I just think it's important to note how 'things become "what you call them."' Maybe the example-of-that on most-people's mind right now is 'how now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh is frequently called "rapist"' or 'how Judge Roy Moore is called "pedophile,"' etc.

The more people call them these things, the more people believe that's what they are. (That's why we so-often include 'respectable titles' in people's names–President Trump, Justice Kavanaugh, Governor Schwarzenegger–calling them to fulfill the expectations connected to the title!)

But I think the best example of 'using a name to inspire the named person to fulfill their greatness' is the One people call-on so frequently that they believe it brings the greatest assistance available in all the universe—the name Lord Jesus Christ!

(Call a man 'Lord Jesus Christ,' and–if he doesn't correct you on that, insisting he's not 'The Big, Anointed Example-of-Salvation'–he's going to be inspired to provide 'what that name implies he will provide.')

*I know this links to an entry that lists the names of this & -many other gods, but I guess this is to focus on 'the names of this specific god' ... sort of like there are many-many 'Jason's, but I specialize in 'one specific "Jason."'
