The word “Work-Week” is of-course built of the words Work & Week (the common agreement that--on the standard 7-day week--the Weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, #Thursday, Friday) are for Waged-Labor, and the Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are for |Leisure (and possibly -for House-Chores and |Yard-Work).
"Thursday" is named for ancient words that mean "Thor's (Thunder) Day" (Day of Jupiter ... also related (somehow) to the Day of Zeus).
