@AmberMRuffin (that's #AmberRuffin) & @Kat_Blaque explain Why #WhiteHistoryMonth (cautionary tales of our pre-enlightened past) | @realScienceNow #Caucasoid #Caucasian

"WHY ISN'T THERE WHITE HISTORY MONTH?... RACISM'S PRETTY MUCH OVER!"
If I said- and seriously meant-the statement of that image, I'm sure 'civil-rights scholars' (I'm not even sure what to call 'those people obsessed with all the crimes that could be said-to-be racially motivated'!) could react with a whole litany of recent racist acts ...

So--for everyone who's thinking (or--like most people--HOPING) that 'racism's pretty much over'--it is, if you're talking about conscious hate- & restriction-of other citizens based purely on the color of their skin.

But 'we who deny the existence of racism' have to admit there are several circumstances & -perceptions left-over from the days when 'excessive amounts of melanin in your skin' meant that you were 'of a species beneath Human on the Evolutionary-Chart.'

I don't think there are any laws that specify skin-color as a condition of their application (or maybe I just don't want to know that any such laws exist); but there seem to be laws that apply to 'certain locations' (where Blacks or Yellows or Reds or Browns (the Mongols & Negros, or #Negroloids & Mongoloids) live or socialize), so the people making those laws are accused of "racism."

Those accused are (more-often-than-not) Whites (Caucasians). Why are Whites called 'Caucasian?' (Aren't those mountains in Spain ... although it would explain why they're also called #Europoid) It's explained on the Wikipedia-page linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to explore the deeper meanings of that word ... deeper meanings that 'firm the foundations' upon which our lexicon stands ...

The words “Caucasian, Caucasoid” are built on ancient words that mean "of-, pertaining to- (-ian) or like- (-|oid) the #Caucasus Mountains."
The name "Caucasus" is built on words that mean Mountain-|Ice Shining White with |Snow.

I went ahead and seriously asked the question from the 'mimage' at the top, and I'm pretty sure all the answers are echoes of the old cliché, "Because every month is White History Month."

So I suppose March is the beginning of 'an 11-month-long
celebration?' And guess what kind of racist I'd be called if I were
 to 'celebrate' that?

But I did find 'a serious answer' (in 'a comedy show' ... so take it as 'a grain of salt' (in the otherwise hyper-sweet treat)):

... and another 'answer to my serious question' (this one a deep, 'serious answer') explained (among other things) that "actually, there are SEVERAL":

After February's Black History Month (listing them 'in case you can't see the picture above' ... but really 'so that I can hyperlink to posts about the listed words):
But why 'Black' History, but no 'Red' or 'Yellow' or 'Brown' (or--as implied--'White') History? (NOTE: Those Five #RaceColors (or a version of them) were used in the Lothrop Stoddard Race-Map (1920))

The different 'shades' (or maybe 'hues'?) of Caucasian:

  • Abazin
  • Chechen
  • Circassian
  • Lezgin
  • Ingush
  • Kumyk
  • Georgian
  • Ossetian
