@iamfires reports how @MARVEL is redeeming #Hulk (according to #GeeksWorldwide @The_GWW) | @looper @Bing @getFandom @ScreenRant @Wikipedia

(After a brief message), Michael Roman explains the upcoming Hulk-focus in Phase 4 (or -5 or -27) in a report you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word/name “Hulk” (originally describing "a Light, Fast Ship (later referring to a Heavy, |Unwieldy Boat)") is built on ancient words that mean "to Pull, Draw, Drag" (as the Merchant Ship would have to be |Towed (into- or out of-Dock, maybe?), and the word came to be used for any Old |Vessel Unfit for Further Deployment
#TheHulks (Great Expectations) were old ships used as prisons. Hulk was then also applied to Big, |Clumsy People (leading to the surname #Hulke ).
Looking for 'why they named the character Hulk' (see below the subscribe-bar), I read that the comic-book character was named after another comic-book character that was a Large Green |Swamp-Monster named The |Heap (although the original fictional use of the name was by a Soldier who was Hunting him after a |Gamma-Bomb transformed him into a |Lumbering Monster (initially Grey ... made Green because of publishing concerns)).
