#Merch not-only 'Marks You as a Supporter,' but-also 'Actually Supports the Cause It Promotes'! @BrainXcite #wearbonfire @Bonfire ... #DonaldJTrump, @KamalaHarris @TeePublic #Resistance #VoteBlueNoMatterWho @fUNNYsHIRTSorg @SpreadShirt @Etsy @TeeShirtPalace @CafePress @RedBubble @goTeamMAGA @Fanatics @TVMovieDepot #Merchandise #Merchandising #Merchandizing #Merchant
Because 'they' (both 'the group promoted on the merch (usually a sports-team, often a political-group)' AND 'the people producing the merch') gain not-only 'subliminal entry into the minds of all the people who see you wearing the merch,' but also- & primarily-'profits from the sale of the merch ...
('(that's the main reason they offer the merch—e.g. MAGA/KAG ... The Trump Organization doesn't care if you really-do encourage people to Make America Great Again or Keep America Great—not as much as they care that you are draining your own bank-account so they can add to their own!)')
Hey! Maybe if Kamala Harris had put out some "I was that little girl"-merch, she would still be in-the-running for the 2020 Presidential Election!
But that's not 'what this post is about': The Merch-topic comes up, because BRAINXCITE (a company that sponsors 'brain-injury survivors like me' and 'our caregivers') gains more resources-to-support-us by selling T-shirts & hoodies from Bonfire.com.
'That word' (below-hyperlinked to BRAINXCITE's Bonfire-storefront) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word “Merch (short for Merchandise)” is built on words that mean “to Trade-, |Traffic- or |Deal-in” (Market).
