#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #October8 #BirthdayCohort with @BrunoMars & #KristannaLoken @LokenKristanna & ... You?) on #FluffernutterDay @AnydayGuide | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates #TheFamousPeople @YourTango @MySundayMass #PeanutButter & #MarshmallowCreme (a.k.a. #Fluff) #Peanut #Butter #Marshmallow #Creme #Cream

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

AnyDayGuide explains #Fluffernutter Day in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

How to Make Yours!
The word “Butter” (of Peanut-Butter) is built on “|Ox, |Cow, Bull + Cheese (to |Swell)”  (the Fatty Part of Milk, obtained from Cream by Churning ... though the use of the word in 'Peanut-Butter' probably comes from the verb that means "to |Spread Butter on").
The word “Fluff” is built on “|Tuft of Hair (Velvet), to Shake into a Soft Mass” (Imitating the Action of Puffing away some Light Substance, Marshmallow |Confection, theater-slang for "Little Mistake").
Those words obviously combine into "Fluffernutter."
(Though I'm not sure of the difference between Marshmallow Fluff & Marshmallow Creme (or -Cream)) the word “Creme” is from the French for "Cream," built on “|Ointment (|Unguent, to |Rub)" + the Foundation of Latin cranum ('Cream.')”
The word “Peanut” is a compound of “|Pea” + "|Nut" (interesting, the word "Goober" comes from an African language (Bantu, Kikongo, Kimbundu) word for 'peanut').
The word “Marshmallow” is a compound of the words "|Marsh" & "|Mallow" (as the confection was made from the roots of a mallow-Plant that grows near Salt-marshes).
The shrub's Greek name “Althaea” is built on “to Heal, Get Well” (Grow, Nourish).

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

Today's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Libra ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Frank Herbert, Darrell Hammond, Johnny & C.J. Ramone, Kristanna Loken, CeCe Winans, Matt Damon, Nick Cannon, Bruno Mars, Sigourney Weaver, Chevy Chase, Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee), R.L. Stine, Jesse Jackson, co-founder of NETFLIX Reed Hastings, once-president of Argentina Juan Peròn, Heinrich Schütz ...

(and--if you or someone you know about has a birthday today
--please mention them (and how you know them or -know
about them) in the comments, thanks)

My Heart of the Nation calendar says that we (Catholics) are celebrating with the clergy wearing Green Vestments for the day
