#HappyBirthday to the #June22 #BirthdayCohort (with #AliciaGoranson @privateego & @CyndiLauper & ALL the #FamousBirthdays @Bing lists)! on #NationalChocolateEclairDay | @Budget101 @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &/or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar explains 'the history behind the #Eclair we celebrate' in a report you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Éclair” (a Pastry made with Steam-Puffed Dough; unlike its cousin the LongJohn, with Yeast-Risen Dough) is French for "Lightning" (so named because its frosting-sprinkles originally resembled lightning-bolts).

Celebrate by Making Your Own (if you can do it like they show you how-to here)!

It 'thrills me' a little that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

This Day's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Cancer (in the wake of Gemini) ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Kris Kristofferson, Diane Feinstein, John Dillinger, Meryl Streep, Cyndi Lauper, Todd Rundgren (who sings "Hello It's Me (... it's important to meeeeee that you know you are freeeeeeeeeee ... think I should, think I should ...)"), Erin Brockovich, Lindsey Wagner, Elizabeth Warren, Jerrod Carmichael (I've never heard-of; except I think he hosted SNL once), Bruce Campbell, Carson Daly, Octavia Butler (author of Kindred), Dan Brown, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Alicia Goranson (the original- and current Becky ... maybe it's not as iconic a name as its predecessor Roseanne, but there's still time!!!), Ed Bradley, filmmaker Uwe Boll ...

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...

Or maybe you'd like a reminder of 'where you've seen one of the ones we DO mention'; Ask in your comment!

My Heart of the Nation calendar tells me we (Catholics) are celebrating with the clergy Green Vestments for the season (or White for the Optional Memorial of St. Paulinus of Nola, or Red for the option of Sts. John Fisher & Thomas More)
