#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #February25 #BirthdayCohort with #RicFlair @ricflairnatrboy & @SeanAstin & ALL the #FamousBirthdays @Bing lists) on #ClamChowderDay | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &/or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar explains some background on #Chowder (and some Clam-facts for the #ClamChowder) in a report linked through 'the hyperlinks' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Chowder (used for #Chowders like the #NewEnglandClamChowder #LongIslandClamChowder #DelawareClamChowder #NewJerseyClamChowder #PugetSoundClamChowder #RhodeIslandClamChowder #SaintAugustineMinorcanClamChowder)” is built on ancient words that mean |Warm-, Hot Bath (|Cooking Pot ... #Chowderhead (Big, Stupid, |Clumsy Person) is a corruption of #CholterHead or #JoltHead---which makes me think of |Dolt).

I sometimes get a little mind-spark from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that spark from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

This Day's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Pisces ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: The Beatles' George Harrison, Ric Flair, Rashida Jones (ANGIE TRIBECA), Téa Leoni, Sean Astin, Chelsea Handler, Jameela Jamil (-Jonas), Carrot Top, Sally Jessy Raphael, composer John Doe (I don't recognize him; but with that name, I HAD to include `im!), Enrico Caruso, sportscaster James Brown, deadpan humorist Jack Handey, bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...

Or maybe you'd like a reminder of 'where you've seen one of the ones we DO mention'; Ask in your comment!

My Heart of the Nation calendar (which tells me which celebrations we (Catholics) are celebrating, and which color Vestments the clergy are wearing) tells us that this day's in Green
