I Regularly #CrossTheLine between "Ignorant" & #Stupid as I #WalkTheLine between #MAGAt/#KAGtipper & #RESISTard, between @TrumpFanClub & @DonaldTrumpHate (between good & evil?) @Ecosia

Where is 'the line' (between Ignorant & Stupid, as 'the other lines' are mostly "matters of opinion")? For me, it's 'my mouth'—when I feel compelled to 'make statements' while still ignorant of all the facts.

I try to apologize for all that stupidity, but ...

Well, I'll explain below; but first, 'Those words' (below-hyperlinked to a tree-planting search for 'that line') is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Stupid” is built on words that mean “|Struck Senseless (|Steep)” (Not Wise (|Dull, |Dizzy)).

That starts to 'explain' why people can't always 'apologize' for all their stupidity—because when we are "struck" by something, we are compelled (with a sense of propriety ... 'The Law' demanding "an equal & opposite reaction for every action," and 'a reaction taken too long after the initial action' being more like "a grudge or vendetta or sour-grapes" or something equally uncivilized) to react before we can learn- (i.e. while we're still ignorant of-) the excusable reasons for the actions that struck us.

For example: many of us are 'struck' by the unfortunate outcomes of 'President Donald Trump's policy-decisions' (he might claim they're not "his" decisions, as some of them might be 'the policies of past administrations' or 'suggestions from his advisers'; but he approved of them all). So we stupidly blame him for them (e.g. 'Trump put kids in cages!' or 'Trump made healthcare-providers greedy!' or 'Trump made Republicans spineless!' etc.) before we learn the reason-why he made them.

(And–if you are firm-set in your hate of him–you are quick to invent (or to agree with someone else's invention of) some sinister purpose he must've had for his decision.)
