#Quests or #Adventures? at @getFANDOM's site for @Vizor_Games' #KlondikeTheLostExpedition | #Quest #Adventure #Quested #Adventured #Questing #Adventuring #Advnturer #Adventuresome
I thought the game would give the main player the 'quest' of finding their gold-digging father lost up in the Alaskan mountains;
But FANDOM's Klondike (TLE)-site points to many different 'quests' (calling them 'adventures') in a report linked through 'those words' below; but first I want to understand 'any difference between those words' better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Adventure (\ #Adventurous #Misadventure #Peradventure #Venture)” is built on ancient words that mean "to Go-, Come To" (Account of a Wonder, of a Miracle, of Marvelous things).
The word “Quest” is built on ancient words that mean "to Seek, Gain, Ask" (|Query ... the Mission (particularly one involving the Holy Grail) of a |Knight; a #Questmonger profits from unjust Action-at-Law; the #QuestingBeast |Barks & Bays at the scent of game).
