It's Not a #Wheelchair, it's not a Power #Chair; it's a #ZiNGER! @firstSTREET_inc | @Wikipedia

That's what the ad (that led to the page linked to the 'studied' words below) said. And it went on:
Turns on a dime. Folds and unfolds in seconds. Fits in your trunk or backseat.
Maybe I'll explore 'how that makes it any different from a "Power Chair"'; but first I feel it's more important to understand those words better. And I find that you understand words better when you look at the other words at the bases of the words you're thinking-of ...

The word “Zinger” is the name that firstSTREET gave the chair. My source says 'Zinger' is the word for 'a |Cruel Quip' (tho it was earlier baseball-slang for a Fastball ... firstSTREET probably named the chair that way because it puts #Zing back in the lives of its users, but their choice might've been influenced by its use as the name of any of these foods or celebrities or other entities).
The word "Zing" is built on ancient words that are Echoic of a High-|Pitched Sound (the sound you imagine is made by the Energy & |Zest of a Stinging Witticism or -|Retort).
The word “Wheelchair” is built of the words #Wheel & #Chair.
The word “Wheel” is built on ancient words that mean |Revolve, move |Round, |Sojourn, |Dwell. #Wheels #WheelOfFortune #WheelerDealer #Wheeled #Wheeling #Cartwheel #CogWheel #DrivingWheel #Flywheel #FourWheeled #FreeWheeling #MillWheel #PaddleWheel #Pinwheel #WaterWheel #Wheelbarrow #WheelHouse #Wheelie #Wheelwright
The word “Chair” is built on ancient words that mean Seat (|Cathedral, |Pulpit, Throne). #Chaired #Chairing #Chairs #TheChair (slang for #ElectricChair) #ChairRail #Armchair #Chairwoman #Chairman #Chairperson #EasyChair #HighChair

"... a highly portable suitcase-like contraption,"

IPPinka calls it ... although they do refer to it as a "wheelchair."

I guess ZINGER wants to 'evade' (I was gonna say 'side-step,' but ... too cruel 😏) the image that 'wheelchair' or 'power chair' bring up ... the idea of 'the clunky operations' with the 'obtrusive apparatus.'

As mentioned at the top, the ZINGER folds quickly into a 10"-tall stack (width & length vary, I bet)---in contrast to most such chairs, that require either a handicap-equipped van or a dismantlement-&-securing of bulky components.
