'That word' (below-hyperlinked to a video of a few musicians discussing 'how they'll endure "lesser" music for a little while sometimes') is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word |Snob| eventually meant "one who Despises those considered Inferior in Rank, Attainment or |Taste," but previously meant "those who Insist on the |Gentility they Aspire-to" and "person who |Vulgarly Apes his Social |Superiors" and "person of the |Ordinary- or Lower Classes" and "a Townsman or Local Merchant" and "a |Shoemaker or a Shoemaker's Apprentice."
