God Connects the Twelve Tribes of #Israel to the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac ... possibly ... @LLeweLLynBooks @prayerDotOrg @ShepherdsChapel

'That nation-name' (below-hyperlinked to Llewllyn's exploration of possible connections between the Twelve Tribes & the 12 signs) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The name “Israel” #Israeli #Israelite# is from the Hebrew ישראל (yisra'el) meaning "he that Striveth (he |Fought, Contended) versus God" (in Genesis 32:28, where The Bible's Jacob (son of |Isaac, son of Abraham)–on his way to make peace with his brother |Esau–Wrestled with a man who could not overpower him and–asking for a blessing from the defeated man–found out the man was actually God).

The picture below makes it seem like a simple connection, but the article linked above (possibly like 'the blog I'm borrowing the picture-from') discovers it may be a little more-complicated

You can see the picture assigns:
To The Tribe of ...(according to The Battle Belongs to the Lord 2009) the Sign of ...(according to Shepherd's Chapel) the Sign of ...
EphraimAquariusTaurus (a horn of the bull, along with ...)
ManassehPiscesTaurus (... the other horn)
BenjaminCapricornGemini
GadAries~
AsherSagittarius~
ReubenTaurusAquarius
DanScorpio~
SimeonGeminiPisces
NaphtaliLibraCapricorn(-us?)
ZebulunCancer... Virgo (I guess ... I can't find if Pastor Dennis ever mentioned that sign, and I'm not exactly sure what "Companion Bible" he's referring-to)
JudahLeo~ (the Lion of Judah)
IssacharVirgoCancer

But that doesn't include the Priest-tribe (which Llewellyn says wasn't one of "The Twelve Tribes") of Levi (whose sign–Pastor Dennis Murray says–was Libra), instead splitting Joseph (of the Technicolor Dreamcoat) into a tribe-each for two of his sons (Manasseh & Ephraim, which I think The Bible calls "half-tribes" ... although you might say the Levites were "given to God" and placed in the center).
