@Quora-discussion makes me want to review 'How #SocialSecurity Works' | @Wikipedia

I link to the Quora-discussion through |that program-name| below.

|That word| seems important; so I found out a little more about |that word| and share my findings with you below---maybe I'll add some notes beneath (and/or you might start/continue the discussion in the comments).
|Social Security| is American "Society's" Insurance Fund that "Secures" Wages for citizens who Suffer Old-Age and/or |Disability, or are the Survivors of those former Providers (|Social Security| is the commonly used term for the federal Old-Age, Survivors & Disability Insurance (OASDI) ... also known as two separate programs (Old-Age and Survivors Insurance (OASI) & Disability Insurance (DI))).
The word |Disability| is built of the prefix Dis- & the word #Ability---with |Ability| built on ancient words that mean "Easy to Manage, |Handy (see Able)."

just like #Disabilities #Abilities #Inability, the suffix #-ability
#Inabilities, with the obsolete form #Hability #Habilities
 #Disable #Disabled #Disabling #Disableds

To Keep Up on My 'Research,'

Oh! What a blessed world today's world is! where--rather than 'having to go through the experience' or 'asking an actual person about the experience they've had'--you can just ask Google/Bing/Yahoo! etc. for 'the information you're looking-for' and they can give you '3.3 billion answers in a little over half a second!'
