But I do wonder if those two words are related ... connected at base ... 'Those words' (below-hyperlinked to a post about the truth-&-lies about Medicare & Medicaid) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Provide” is built on ancient words that mean “Ahead, Forward + to See” (tho some words that 'spring from' this word–Provision, Provisions–mean 'to Supply (with Food & Drink, Clothing, Medicine-etc.)

The word “Supply” is built on ancient words that mean “Up from Below (Sub-) + to |Fill” (Complete).

I guess 'the difference between "Provide" and "Supply"' is ... the difference between 'knowing what you need' & 'getting what you need.'

I guess the original idea behind 'having/being a Provider' was 'having/being a Father-figure who "sees ahead" and (as they can see 'what you need' and of-course can go get it) gives you what you'll need in order to face future hardships.'

And of course I think of Our Father יהוה (Yahweh, The Almighty G_d ... see why I'm hesitant to use 'the word that "everybody thinks" The Name is). But I searched 'God Our Supplier' and the top search-result was on "God Our Provider." (Oh, there were plenty of 'God Supplies our Need' and 'All Our Supply Comes from God'-etc. entries in the search-results, but ... Satan disguises himself so well—lures us away from the right path by promising us Rewards for 'taking the road to Destruction' ...

And I remembered King Solomon's relationship with Our Father יהוה ... how–tho he knew he could've asked for all the treasures & comforts in the world–he only asked for 'the wisdom to rule in righteousness' (but–using that wisdom–he gained more of 'the treasures & comforts in the world' than any other ruler ever before!)

I doubt that Our Father יהוה supplied any of the worldly wealth; tho (of course) King Solomon credits Our Father יהוה for 'the wisdom required to find- and retrieve the treasures.'

So in this blog, I want to 'follow that pattern'—'asking' ('praying for'? 'faithing/believing for'?) wisdom, using it to advance The Kingdom.

But this blog only advances The Kingdom when more-&-more readers see it. And 'more-&-more readers' will only see it if ... if ... if there's "something they want" here.

What Do Readers Want (from Me)?
• Humor/Comedy
  
• Encouragement—I might use The Bible or some 'less holy' (but actually 'just as good') text as Foundation for it; but the encouragement I give is usually aimed at helping you return your Focus Forward.
  
• Advice - tho my advice isn't ... well, you usually want to take advice from someone who's in a position you aim to achieve for yourself (the reason-why Lord Jesus Christ's leading followers were called "Disciples" and not "Students or Teachers or Professors or Doctors or Trainers or Speakers or Writers" (tho some of them 'Discipled' through such titles)—their job was not 'to teach us the wisdom that Jesus gave them' so much as it was to "Go ..." behaving in The Way that Lord Jesus Christ had trained them).
  
  My 'advice' is better for "patients" (and not 'how to stop being a "patient"' (most patients' goal),' but more like 'how to make your peace with "being a patient for the rest of your life"').
  
• 'Entertainment' (i.e. just some fun-reading or -activity or -performance to pass the time-with) - That's basically what I started this blog-for ... something for me to pass the time-with (I've done that 'ending a phrase with a preposition'-thing—even tho I used the 'with a dash'-loophole almost every time, I feel like that forgiveness runs out if you do it too much ... like those 'pauses' people insert in their speech ("... like ..." "... y`know ..." "... umm ...")—okay if used sparingly, but overuse ... gets you made-fun-of on the nationally-broadcast stage 😟
