Microsoft lists those Labrador Retriever facts atop a web-search linked through 'those words' below; but first I want to understand those words better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Labrador” is the name of a Canadian Province, built on ancient words that mean either Laborer (as the land seemed good for Slave-Work) or Landholder (meaning of the title given to a man who told John Cabot how to get to Asia).
