#Willard Needs to Hear, "We Forgive You" (& probably HAS heard it from @ChrisRock & @JadaPSmith & all their friends & enemies & neighbors & 'tourists' (that's 'the opposite of "Neighbors,"' yeah?) | @RCFATL @iMDb @Twitter @BibleStudyTools

But I'm Honky enough to say it (whether I ought to or not), as if it were my original idea ...

Netflix introduces an interview-series (with an episode which informed me that the episode's guest's name is Willard Carroll Smith---not 'William' or 'Wilford' or even 'just Will #Smith' ... an episode prefaced with a note telling us that its interview was filmed BEFORE The Slap) with an offer you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words.

And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The name “Willard” is derived from #Willihard, built on ancient words that mean "Brave & |Hardy Will & Desire."
(I've already done an entry for the name "Carroll," so) The name "Smith" is an occupational surname (for a family of Metalworkers or Blacksmiths) built on ancient words that mean "to Smite, Hit."
#Wilheard #Smythe #Will #Smits #Schmidt #Schmitt #Schmitz
The word "Smith" is built on ancient words that mean "to Cut, Work with a Sharp Instrument" (related to that surname and the surnames Ferraro, Haddad, Kovács, Kowalski, Herrero & MacGowan).
#Smithed #Smithing #Coppersmith #Goldsmith #Gunsmith #Locksmith #Silversmith #Smithy #Tinsmith #Tunesmith #Wordsmith

I see 'that word' used in a Bible-verse that sticks in my memory--#Isaiah54sixteen--where Yahweh says "Behold, I have created/prepared the smith/charash (ironsmith, blacksmith)/artizan (who fans the coals into eish (flame) and forges/brings-forth a keli (instrument/weapon) fit for its ma'aseh (work/purpose)). And it is I who have created the mashchit (destroyer/spoiler/waster/killer/ravager) to wreak-havoc/destroy."

Watching this episode, all kinds of 'thoughts' arise. It's all fading away now---like a dream (good or bad) you've had the night before ...

First, his name is Willard Carroll Smith---I'm not sure if that's "Junior" or "the Second (or -Third or -Fourth etc.)"; David Letterman asked him about it, and Willard replied, "Well, my father's name was Willard Carroll Smith & my son's name is Willard Carroll Smith ..."

(His IMDb calls him "Willard Carroll Smith, Jr." (emph.
added) first, then gives his nicknames Fresh Prince
& Mr. July (though he was born in September) & Will,
then calls him Willard Carroll "Will" Smith II. The Ryan
Cameron Foundation calsl him Willard Carroll "Will"
Smith Jr.---that decides it (for now).)

He mentioned that the most psychologically traumatic experience of his life was one of his several Ayahuasca-trips---he describes it in better detail, but basically ... his 'soul' experiences the loss of everything he ever had (given or earned), and he comes out of it realizing what a precious gift everything-in-life is.

And he also mentioned--I'm not sure if it came up before- or after the trauma--that he learned about forgiveness from Nelson Mandela, who--though he spent many years in prison for a crime he did not commit--totally forgave his false accusers!

So I'm sure that all his true fans (who have enjoyed- and will continue to enjoy-his performances starting from when he told rhyming stories on the radio, through his reign as Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (a kingdom I understand he's passed on to a new generation), and hopeful he'll be captain-ing a famous starship in the not-too-distant future) have all forgiven him---knowing he'll work out his problems during the 10-year sabbatical The Academy has given him 😷
