@Microsoft helps @PreventionMag tell 'the #Nursing Gender' all the Myths they need to Forget! (also helped by @JenMsft & @interglot)

(And I apologize to all the male nurses for sounding like 'a big dumb sexist' by calling females 'the nursing gender'; but I've already posted about Female, Woman, Girl & Gal, and the root for 'Female' is "gender that nurses"!

Microsoft shares a slideshow of Prevention's 'revelations' in a slideshow you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; and I might list a few of the big myths (below the subscribe-bar), but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Nursing” is built on ancient words that mean "to Supply with Food & Drink, Feed, Bring up, Nurture" (or Suckle ... see Nourish)
#Nurse #Nurses #Nursed #WetNurse #DryNurse #NurseMaid #Nursling
Nurse is also the word for a Dogfish or Shark-of-inactive-habits (standing on Obscure Foundations).
