#BingRewards @Microsoft selects some #Barbecue-topics you might want to review for #NationalBarbecueMonth (May)

Microsoft Bing did a special 'bunch of searches' (in honor of National Barbecue Month (May)) and presents them on a page you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Barbecue” is built on ancient words that mean "Framework of Sticks set upon Posts (used for Curing Meat or Sleeping-Bunks ... variant of a word for #Buccaneer (Pirate who Cures Wild Meats on a #Boucan (Native Grill)))
#Barbecued #Barbecuing #BBQ (tho I'm not seeing them use an actual 'q' in any of the spellings ...)

The first search they display is Brisket, and they offer links to searches on
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • Yakiniku
  • Asado
  • Kebab
  • Smoking
  • Pulled Pork - named after the method of serving the secondary cuts of pork (called "butt roast," but probably actually part of the pig's shoulder), pried into shreds after cooking
  • Barbacoa
  • Pork Ribs
  • Spare Ribs
  • Korean Barbecue
  • Burnt Ends - also called "Bark," it's the trimmings from a smoked brisket
  • Hamburger
  • Mongolian Barbecue - Meng Gu Kao Rou (蒙古烤肉), stir-fried meal of meats & vegetables; not exactly Mongolian nor barbecue, it's a combination of Chinese stir-frying & Japanese Teppanyaki
  • Smoked Meat
  • Steak
  • Barbecue Chicken
  • Fried Chicken
  • Hot Dog
  • Jerk - the barbecue-method is different than the 'jerky'-method I link-to there.
