My #induction (and yours) into the #WritingCommunity | @HotfourWords #induct #inducted #inducting #inducts #inductee #inductions #inductance #inductor #inductive

I discuss my 'Writing Community'-membership in the paying-forum accessed through 'the bold hyperlink(s)' below; you can make money at that forum, but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Induction” is built on ancient words that mean "to Lead Into, Introduce" (see Induce).

I haven't been in the Writing Community (on Twitter) for long ... well, I've been 'on Twitter' for almost as long as there was an 'on Twitter' to be! And sure, I've been 'a writer on Twitter' for the whole time; but I haven't been 'into the #WritingCommunity' or 'doing #WritersLift's' much before 2022.

But I think I am in the Writing Community, because my Twitter-feed shows me about A DOZEN #WritersLift's per day---and most of them ask writers for 'their books, articles & WIPs.' And I usually just reply with ByTheseWords' URL and maybe 'a little comment on what I'm doing here' ... but ...

What Am I Doing Here?

Most of these posts feature 'an etymology' (like that of 'Induction' above)---I could say I get that from combining my love of "Choose Your Own Story"-books with my fascination with "those roots-of-words entries you see beneath words in the dictionary" (how I always wanted to go to the root-word's entry, see the roots of that word, go to those roots' entries, see the roots of those words, go to ... etc.);

But--to be honest--my biggest inspiration was Marina "Hot For Words" Orlova ...

... a 'Soviet' exchange-student who was one of the pioneers of YouTube---getting international popularity for her entertaining ways of teaching her fans the roots of the words they heard in the contemporary media.

I'm doing that too---in my less-popular way.

Trying to use others' popularity---some say that's why I @-tag other Twitter-members in the Title-line (which gets shared on Twitter ... making that text 'hyperlink' to those popular members, making my tweets look "SPAMMY"). But really, I'm usually doing that because I want to share credit/blame.

So you can look at those @-tags as "co-writers!"

That's it! My 'work-in-progress' is 'co-writer-ship of The Internet!' ... or maybe it's more like 'Co-Editorial Authorship!' Yes! The Internet is a Magazine/Newsletter/Periodical/ Anthology, and I am a Contributing Tweditor---one of the many Scholars attending to its accuracy!
