#PhD in #Leadership? @PiedmontIU ... What a Lie "Education" Is (these days)! #Philosophical #Lead #Philosophy #Leading #Philosopher #Leader #Lede

I see a Facebook-ad for Piedmont International University's John Wesley School of Leadership, and it reminds me how far-distant "schooling" is from "education"—how 'leadership-school' isn't so-much "how to lead well" as it is "how leaders in the past led well."

However, that truth does tell us something about 'the truth of religion'—but first ... 'Those words' are built on even-deeper sources ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which the our lexicon stands ...

The word “Lead” is built on ancient words that mean “to Go Forth” or a Foundation like "a |Heavy Metal, |Weight, |Plummet."
The word “Philosophy” is built on ancient words that mean “Loving + Knowledge, Wisdom, Learned” (Systematic Investigation, system a person forms for Conduct of one's |Entire Life).

The 'truth of religion' is that it's all dependent upon Discipleship—learning a skill by merit of following and studying a master of the skill (the truth behind the Buddhist belief that "all religions are Buddhism" ... because they are all based upon the Discipleship of their gods or priests or prophets or Buddhas).

... Reminds me that 'the literal translation' of Lord Jesus Christ's "Great Commission" was not 'MAKE Disciples,' but just the verb "Disciple (as you go to all nations: preaching, teaching and baptizing)." The idea was 'go across the world, behaving as we did while I was with you. ("And I will be with you always.")'

So how is 'education' a "lie" (these days)? The difference between 'education' & "schooling" goes back to a case automobile-manufacturer Henry Ford brought a Chicago newpaper to court–OZY mentions the case, but Napoleon Hill describes it more-usefully–the Chicago newspaper printed an article that stated that Ford was an ignorant pacifist, and their defense-attorney's strategy was 'to bombard him with trivia-questions' to prove that he was ignorant.

But you've heard of Henry Ford's leadership; have you ever heard of the leadership of a Piedmont I.U. grad?

Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong—that's one reason
Our Father God said "It is not good for the man to be
alone":  "Because the man'll think he's right until someone else shows
him why he's not"—Won't you show me
if I'm right-or-wrong in the comments below?
