You know Matthew 5:18,
For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not 'the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen' ("jot" nor "tittle"), will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
I don't remember if Matt speaks directly against that quote in the video (linked at 'Edit'), but ... maybe 'examining some of the foundations of that word' will help you see 'whether The Bible needs to be Edited.'
The word “Edit” is built on “to Give out, Put out, Publish” (Edition). 
The word "Edition" is built on "Out + to Give."
