#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #October24 #BirthdayCohort with @Drake & #TilaTequila @tatavicious & ... You?) on #Bologna Day | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates #TheFamousPeople @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar describes the mortadella meat from the Italian city (the #BolognaSausage) in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The word “Bologna (\ #Bolognese)” is built on ancient words that mean Settlement or Foundation, Fortress or the name of the group of |Gaulish people who lived there (the #Boii).
The alternate spellings #Baloney or #Boloney (you might call them 'phonetic spellings of the Italian word') make the word also a slang-term for |Nonsense (partly influenced by |Blarney, but mostly from the idea of the Italian Sausage being a mix of (otherwise-useless) |OddsandEnds).

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

Today's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Scorpio (in the wake of Libra) ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Kevin Kline, The Big Bopper, rapper Drake, Youtuber PewDiePie, Thien Thanh Thi Nguyen (Tila Tequila), Stephen Covey (writer of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People), Bob Kane (comic-book writer), Vice-President James S. Sherman ...

but those are just the ones that I agree are famous;
You can add

recognize)
