In #Matthew7 (24 & 25), Lord Jesus Christ calls Readers "a Wise One who Built His House upon the Rock" | #STRONGSg1909 @theBibleHub

I look at 'how these words are built' ('the words people use today' built on 'bricks' (words with similar meanings from the past and/or -from foreign languages) formed out of 'grains of sand' (like the part of "etymology" that's made of ancient words that mean "true sense")) and am reminded how Jesus said ...

Well, I'll quote the Scripture (which you can also see through 'the emboldened link(s)' below) beneath the follow-bar; but first–after a mention of the free mining-software (giving us free Bitcoin in exchange for energy we're wasting anyway)–I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Upon” (usually referring to 'Motion Toward an Object from Above it & -from its Side') is obviously built of Up & On
The word translated 'Upon' here (ἐπὶ) also translates (in this- or maybe in other-contexts) "On, To, Against, on the |Basis of, At."

I see words "fluttering loosely from the flagpoles at the top of the towers" today---people flippantly spouting them (e.g. "Democracy," "Politics," "Apocalypse") as if they know what the words actually mean 😠

But I cool my anger by 'displaying what they really mean here' and comforting myself with, "Well; if they want to go on being WRONG about Democracy, Politics, Apocalypse-etc., that's their right!"

Because those words DO fly long-&-strong in the wavering, flaky uses you see flying from the tower's pinnacle-flagpoles; but those flags are stationed atop towers built firmly upon foundations of bricks made of worthy 'grains of sand'! Know the firm foundations, and you can be sure of steady meaning supporting your flaky 'artistic tendencies' 👨🏽‍🎨

Like Lord Jesus Christ said,
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
“And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.
“Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
“The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”
