a @Taboola-user SAYS they list the 'Signs of #UlcerativeColitis,' but they then BURY 'that list' beneath ... | @CrohnsColitisFn @livingwithApp @BMSnews @PennMedicine @Telegraph @Google @ColorectalKC @mnt

The ad--in a 'chumbox' in the margin of my WowApp homepage (where WowApp shares tons of news-stories & cashback-deals & rewarding surveys & cash-paying games etc.)--proffered "signs of #Ulcerative Collitis"; but the closest thing that link showed was ... well, I didn't see they had a link for 'symptoms' of #UC (which might be the same thing as signs ... I don't know; I'll link to it through |those words| below, on a page that I had to 'LIE' to open (like those porn-sites I hear some people 'lied' about being "over 18" to look at😋, I 'claimed' to be a "medical professional")); I only saw their link for 'What Causes Ulcerative Colitis,' which may be listed alongside all the info about Living with UC.

I might look & share that list here beneath |those words|, but first ... |Those words| seem important; so I found out a little more about |those words| (below-linked to the thing that brought |that word| to my attention) and share my findings with you below---maybe I'll add some notes beneath (and/or you might start/continue the discussion in the comments).
|Ulcerative Colitis| is a |Chronic Condition where the lining of the Colon becomes |Inflamed and develops |Tiny Open |Sores ( or #Ulcers)---it's a result of the Immune-System's Overactive Response.
The word |Ulcers| sits at the peak of the high tower above the proto-word #elk-es- "|Wound" (also the root of ancient words that mean "|Sore, |Hemorrhoids" ... ancient words that were also used figuratively for "a Painful Subject").
just like #Ulcer #Ulceration #Ulcerous

To Keep Up on My 'Research,'

a man (in a white lab-coat, with a stethoscope hanging over his neck and an iPad in his hand ... and a head made of Google's red/yellow/green/blue 'G' & a pair of round-rimmed spectacles), with a background of solid-teal with a heart-monitor line (in the same colors as the 'G') drawn across it

Before I dig into 'signs you might have UC,' I want to find 'the probable causes of UC' (and the possible ways you can avoid getting UC).
The information provided is for educational purposes only and is not intended to replace discussions with a healthcare provider.
The cause of ulcerative colitis is unknown (so I'm guessing 'it's genetic'), but Stress & Certain Foods can trigger symptoms.

Starting to search for which foods, Google's Auto-fill took me aside to show me The Foods that Heal Colon Inflamation (a list they got from Medical News Today):
  • diluted juices
  • applesauce
  • canned fruit
  • oatmeal
  • plain chicken, turkey or fish
  • cooked eggs or -egg substitutes
  • mashed potatoes, white rice, or noodles
  • sourdough- or white bread
verywell displays Jessica Olah's drawing of a kitchen full of "Recommended Foods for Ulcerative Colitis: Fruit low in fiber; Cooked, seedless, and skinless non-cruciferous vegetables, Gluten-free bread, Sourdough, White pasta and rice, Oatmeal, Lean sources of protein (Eggs)"

I completed the original search, and found Colorectal Surgery Associates' advice; to watch out for
  • Fiber
  • Nuts and Seeds
  • Dairy
  • Unhealthy Fats
  • Caffeine
  • Alcohol
  • Certain Vegetables
    • some vegetables are necessary, so I went for something more specific---avoid onions, broccoli, cabbage & brussels sprouts.
  • Spicy Foods
  • Carbonated Beverages
Maybe some of those may be 'foods you shouldn't eat a lot-of' anyway; but how can you tell if you should start watching your diet? These symptoms:
  • Pain in the abdomen (belly area) & cramping
  • A gurgling or splashing sound heard over the intestine
  • Blood and possibly pus in the stools
  • Diarrhea
  • Fever
  • Feeling that you've got to pass stools, even though your bowels are already empty
  • Weight loss
  • slow growth in childhood
  • joint pain & swelling
  • mouth ulcers
  • nausea and vomiting
  • skin lumps or ulcers
