I'm sure there are other businesses that'll also be open on Thanksgiving Day. 'Deal' & 'Open' (below-linked to more information on the dispensary) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which the our lexicon stands ...
The word "Deal" is built on words that mean "Divide." 
The word “Open” is built on words that mean “Up from Under" (Over).
I wondered what they meant by 'putting "Dank" in their clever pun for their holiday-hours.' Turns out that the 'Dank' they're talking about refers to Dank Cannabis, which is what 'Cannabisians' ('Herbologists,' mostly; but some of them might also be what you might call 'Potheads') call specimens of the plant with "great structure, potent smell, beautiful trichomes & tasty taste—great for medicinal purposes."

'That word' (below-linked to many of its other modern meanings) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms our lexicon's foundation ...
The word "Dank" is built on words that mean "to Moisten (with Mist, Dew, Rain etc.), a Vapor (Damp)" (Saturated with Cold Moisture)







Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong—that's one reason
