Watching, the word #Conglomerate seems important (mostly just because it's a synonym of 'Corporation'); so I found out a little more about it and share my findings with you below (and I link to the topic that brought the word up, and might discuss it beneath (and/or you might start a discussion in the comments)).
The word |Conglomerate| is built on the prefix Con- "With, Together" + ancient words that mean "to Gather into a Ball-Shaped Mass, Collect, |Glebe (not Globe)" (possibly from the proto-word *glem- ... the #CongomerateCorporation noun is extended from the "thing |Comprised of |Heterogeneous or |Incongruous Materials (like a Rock made up of |Pebbles and other Water-Worn Debris)"-meaning).
