"Heaven" is just a #Clever Way to Tell Kids their Loved Ones won't be Visiting Anymore - i.e. People Don't "Go to" Heaven, They "Rest in Peace" because they Know that WE ARE Heaven "because of" them. | @theBibleHub

I don't know if Scripture supports this; although the passage that comes to mind is one from Jesus' explanation of prayer, where he says ... well; first, that word ...

The word “Clever” is built on ancient words that mean "Ready, |Skillful (or maybe Easy to Split, Tear Apart, |Cleave ... also those meaning |Claw, Hand, Expert at Seizing, |Handy, |Dexterous, having Special Manual Ability)."
just like #Cleverly #Cleverness

To Keep Up on My 'Research,'

The passage (linked-to through the bold text above) is Matthew 6:6, where He says that 'Our Father hears your prayer when it's said in secret (behind closed-doors).'

Another Scripture-passage that comes up is Jesus' statement that 'the Kingdom of Heaven is near.' Many preachers take this as "Jesus giving us another 'hint' that He is the Crown Prince of Heaven," but I understand that in a few different ways ...

Maybe He's saying that He's a Prince of Heaven because we're ALL Crown Princes (or Crown Princesses) of Heaven! Maybe--when He said Heaven is 'in our midst'--He meant 'Heaven is within each & every one of us'---Heaven is 'the world, working the way you know that the world should work.'

Looking for that passage, I found it (Matthew 4:17 ... echoed in Mark 1:14-15) and several other 'revealing' passages
  • Matthew 28:18 - Where Jesus granted His Disciples 'the power to make Disciples.'
    • I'm not seeing any Parallels there, but some "Cross-References" given - Proverbs 8:15, Isaiah 9:6, Daniel 7:13, Matthew 11:27 & -26:64, Luke 1:33, John 3:31
  • Matthew 19:23 - Where Jesus said "it's hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven" ... Applying 'my understandings' (that a kingdom is not "a place" but rather 'a set of royal laws'), I see that that's just reassuring 'Resting-in-Peace' parents that--if they taught their children right--the children are happily living under The Kingdom (and riches are available to be used as needed, not -to be worshipped as gods).
    • Mark 10:23, Luke 18:24
  • supported by Matthew 19:14, telling us exactly where 'the keys to The Kingdom' are being delivered ("For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children" ... which is why mature Christians continue to believe 'Heaven is a place you go after you die').
    • Mark 10:15, Luke 18:17
  • Matthew 11:25 - Jesus calls Our Father "Lord of Heaven," and I remember the saying that Our Father is "Lord of The Living and not of The Dead" (Matthew 22:32).
    • Luke 10:21-22 (wherein is the famous 'no one knows the son except the father, whom no one knows except the son & those to whom the son chooses to reveal him')
    • Mark 12:27, Luke 20:38
  • Matthew 16:17 - where Jesus tells Simon that 'The Revelation of Jesus's Anointing' came to him "from Heaven."
    • Luke 10:23-24 (indicating that His disciples had not heard the truth publicly, but privately)
